Experienced pilots have a safe landing picked out. Love this aircraft. Chasing thermals is amazing fun.

As irminkerch noted the propeller was not un-feathered. They start every time with it unfeathered. Good idea to start the engine when above the pattern especially with other airplanes around to avoid starting after landing with someone on final. A precaution but a start is not necessary with a glider as a airport should always be within gliding distance.
