After downloading something that is in the compressed zip format, Windows displays it as a folder icon with a zipper. To use the files inside, you will need to unzip it. Windows calls this "Extracting". Here's how to use the Extract Wizard that is built into Windows. This video is XP, Vista is similar, with slightly different prompts.
