Grace Slick is amazing. One of my idols :)

Can you rename the video to The Great Society Didn't think so, Because there was more to the band than Grace Slick

I had never heard Grace sing with Great Society before. This is a wonderful song, its notes bending wildly this way and that, expressing her belief in the magic of living that she had when her world was still new...

You got a lot of "thumbs down" for your comments, so I wondered if you know why? The singer is Grace Slick, with a band called The Great Society, before she joined Jefferson Airplane as lead vocalist. Grace attended the same college as Richard Nixon's daughter did, and was invited to the White House for tea, but was not let in once she arrived. Grace composed and sang White Rabbit without ever involving Joan Baez. Hope this information helps.

Thanks for posting this song. Brings back memories from times long past. Good to hear Great Society again!
That was visually stunning.

Lyrics are fantastic. Vocal delivery is amazing. Wish I could have seen this show live in SF circa 1967...
"...and I won't be through with him, until he says like a raven..."
brilliant ending.
