Yes and yes. But it kinda ruins the romance in it. But I guess it could be skipped if you don't like it that much.

Liking FSN so far (still in Heavens Feel) - biggest beef is that the climaxes suck compared to the epic turning points (Rider rooftop in Fate and Gilgamesh vs. Berseker in UBW - particularly the latter - love that scene! So disturbing!) and great endings.
In other words both final Gilgamesh battles suck in Fate/UBW. Plus, I guessed the main twist to UBW during Day 3 of Fate after Rin says something about Heroic Spirits being from past or present. So UBW was not too exciting for me.

Just realised poor Lancer never used his Aerial Gae Bolg in the anime... for shame, but then they did just kinda brush him under the metaphorical carpet for the entire series.

Most H-Scene as presented in the PC game are necessary, but the way the PS2 version presents some is a good alternatine, mostly thinking about the UBW one...
As long as they dont throw in a 3D dragon im OK with it ^^
