We don't use 'em. Keeps the games fast paced and allows us to be a bit rougher without the fear of impalement. Plus, no one in our group wanted to use em :)

now this is what i call muggle quittditch....looks like fun...and without the brooms and costumes it doesn't look comic and lame but jst real funn!

btw what did you do for the snitch??

we used a tennis ball and people not playing would throw the snitch around the field like a big game of monkey in the middle.

Awesome. Purely awesome. Makes me want to start up a game / team in my area [especially since the lack of broom props makes it more fast paced, less cumbersome, and more appealing to people].
