  • The BIG difference is these men did not kill for self motovation, profit, greed. but gave themselfs to the needs of the many. "They're all scum" - I like to hear you say that while sitting in a concentration camp waiting to be freed. "They were given permission to do so" - Yeah, I'm sure they enjoyed every second of running up a beach with no cover getting machine guned. Show a little respect, they didn't have to do it. I'm sure you sound better in German or Russian you pleb ! Thats Bravery!!

  • my grandfather was in the army during this and he died when was on the beach he was a PVT i still wish i could see him but i can't only when i die and go to heaven i well see him R.I.P Grandfather R.I.P

  • Typical!!!!!!!!!! only shows Americans.....thousands of British and British Commonwealth soldiers and airmen died in this campaign.

  • @hakawaija : u fucki'n neo-nazi homosexual...

  • My grandpa landed on Juno Beach with the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division. I can't even begin to imagine what he had to go through.

  • I hope that everyone takes alittle bit of time out of their day today to remember the thousands of soliders from many different countries, faiths and creeds that gave thier lives 77 years ago today so that we can enjoy the liberties and freedom we so take for granted. It could have been so much different, if it was not for our fathers and grandfathers. We owe then two minutes of our day to remember their immense sacrifice.

  • i was raised by my grandparents and i know just how great the Greatest Generation is!

  • hoah

  • all that we can do, nowdays generation, is to respect all that great people allies or german soldiers.

  • @ooreoo9 I don't think anyone who actually knows anything about WWII would ever discredit the British troops at all. They were ferocious, tenacious fighters who practically trained us Americans in Africa. It is definitely sad that many people today know nothing about what all of these men did for us.
