1) Iowa didn't claim it, they were voted to it by the Football Writers Association of America, who gave them the Grantland Rice Trophy. Ass hat.

2) Yes, someone from IOWA did just claim there is nothing to do in Nebraska, which makes sense since we have almost DOUBLE their population and a shit ton more cultural amenities loaded in nine significant cities all over the state, instead of "Omaha, Lincoln the end."

fucking iowa state fans, maybe u should go to a game at kinnick, front row is as close to the field as u can get at any stadium in college football, any, u can reach out about 2 feet and touch the other team's players, and because of that, it is one of the loudest, isuasshole

Nebraska only gets to bowl games because they have one of the weakest schedules in the FBS. Only time they're challenged is in the event a southern team is booked and by that time they have probably already steamrolled Kansas, ISU, and Mizz.

Try having to deal with constantly playing in the three biggest stadiums in the western hemisphere. If Nebraska hopes to go anywhere in the Big Ten than they have to stop claiming they're so good. Look where Penn and Michigan State ended up.

In the past 10 years Nebraska has won 6 bowl games including a Fiesta Bowl and 85 games.

Wisconsin won 5 non-BCS bowl games and 60 games. So no, they have not.

How's Nebraska's wrestling program? How's that Big 12 title going? Cornhuskers win against teams like Kansas and Colorado to claim their title but can't even beat a team that got their asses kicked by Baylor.

Also Wisconsin has made much better use of the Nebraska uniform in the past 10 years...Just sayin'.

@fol2005 Having a stadium that holds 88,000 is not impressive considering that Iowa also has to compete with 2 other state schools for students and fans. Nebraska is the only state college in their state. So it's fan-base is not impressive for the lack of competition they have.
