  • umm holy shit

  • @humbucker01 your comment, like your spelling is incorrect.

  • @Javic2112 Monarchhhhh

  • @humbucker watch THIS video where they open up for Victor Wooten and even play a very Primus reminiscent jam...And if you think there is a lack of "rhythm" here, youre SORELY mistaken....have you ever seen John live? just curious....w/ Les Claypool and Victor Wooten as influences you can NEVER go wrong! hmu w/ a response.

  • After seeing John live, I can say that he is definitely worth his salt. I am a huge fan of Victor, Les, and Jaco because they are all originals. I put John on the radar as being an amazing explosion of creativity, talent, and originality. His speed is consistent with the band's style. He has precision and expression. He deserves to be acknowledged for his abilities. He fits that band like a glove. John Ferrera is awesome!

  • @humbucker01

I'm so fucking over Les Claypool.

    I don't like his music

every analysis of any bassist ever comes back to him as comparison.

I respect him as a musician, but christ.

  • @vineyardedge Yes he does! I still remember when he (John) got his first 6 string. He was very happy. I believe his nails even started bleeding that day because he was slapping so hard and so fast. F'en phenomenal basset.

  • @humbucker01 I find the sound too thin and I find he (like wooten) uses way too many percussive notes.

  • @humbucker01 I agree. But don't judge just on one video. I have been to a few concerts of theirs and he can groove, just a bit to fast for my taste.

  • wow, thatd be fun drumming with a bassist like that!
