Radical Ranger Is a inverted Fairchild V-770, V12 aircraft engine. Used Primarily in trainers, observation & transport aircraft during WWII. Dan.Dechant has developed a unique lubrication system making it possible to run these engines in a way more suitable for the high performance needs of tractor pulling, as He has been using them for 3decades now. He also has developed many new innovative upgrades to the internal workings of these engines.He has built this one especially for a high end hot rod project.

  • that transmission couldn't actually hold up under this engine's load could it? did you dampen the sound in this video?...it sounds pretty quiet for an engine intended to dominate the air

  • @waynerd23 OH! For it's intended use it'll hold up. If it doesn't We have alternate designs. As far as how quiet it is YOU weren't there Buddy! The ground was shaking & every one had ear protection. Including the kid that still put his fingers in his ears. For the car it's going in check out Iceeguy8747.
