  • tan tui fighters were known for having strong developes legs from doing their kicks from swated position in there form. so either way since there known for the "legs" or "kicks" tan tui still sounds better then tan shun.

  • It seems like from my perspective it should be more of a springing body or tan shun. It derives its power from the body mechanics of the base so that why the tan(spring) tui (leg) is labeled as it is. But the generation really comes from the hips-legs (base) or the kua jing plays an effect on this form as well.

    So that why I feel the term tan shun would be more appropriate, but tan tui sounds pretty cool too...

  • Where does the term spirning legs come from? it seems more like springing fists.
