As a supporter of conservation in Texas, you know that clean water, clean air and open spaces are crucial for the future of our state. At the Texas League of Conservation Voters, we believe that Texas needs lawmakers who'll stand up for these values in Austin. With the 2010 elections only 14 months away, we're busy gearing up to educate voters, support candidates and make the difference in this critical election.
This fall, the Texas League of Conservation Voters is conducting our first state-wide membership campaign. TLCV's goal is bring people together from across the state to elect the best and largest pro-conservation delegation in the history of the Texas Legislature.
We're launching our membership campaign with a series of videos that explain what the Texas League of Conservation Voters does and why it's important. TLCV is proud to count among its members Victor Emanuel--a pioneer of eco-tourism and globally renowned birder. Victor is a member of TLCV because he knows that the decisions our legislators make in Austin have the greatest impact on habitat preservation.
In 2010, TLCV will take the fight to protect our state to the ballot box. We hope you'll join us.
