Charlie has been having difficulty maintaining her body temp. Sometimes she will hover at 95 and not want to come up. Other times she spikes a "fever" of 102. She is not sick. She's been doing this for 2 months now. This particular night, her pulse-ox beeped, not because over her sat level, but because of her pulse. She was well over 200. Her temp was about 102 and she was breathing hard and fast. Sats were high 90's. I stripped her down and put a cool washcloth on her head. I almost took her to the ER, but soon she fell asleep and then started breathing more normally. By morning she was fine and her temp was back to normal.
