  • Dalai lama born Indian not tibet..Dalai lama is a Hindustani...hahahahaha

  • I agree with the fact that Gautama buddha was born in a Lumbini, which is in present day nepal. However, he attained his enlightenment( nirvana) in Bodhgaya, India, delivered his first sermon in Sarnath( india) and attained his parinirvana at kushinagar( India)!!! Lumbini is identified as the birth place due to the stone pillar placed by the indian emperor ashoka. Both India and nepal need to be proud of their buddhist heritage. May the message of buddha be followed by everyone!!

  • Buddha born in NEPAL. BBC needs to correct this sentence.

  • Guys no matter where ever lord Buddha has born. What matters what he had taught to the world. And please don't use these kind of bad words when you talk about Buddha. Buddhism may not be your religion. But respect other religions.
