how to reset service indicator light on a volkswagen golf 1.9 tdi 2003 model

Quick guide on how to switch off that annoying service light, Any more information required please let me know. Not sure if this one works on variable service.

Is you golf a mk3 or mk4 and is it 3 or 5 door

how do you reset the service on a polo 2003?

the polo is nearly the same press the reset button on the right hand clock switch ignition on and keep depressed until reset, any more trouble and ill post a vid for you
