Bowfishing is so much fun its too bad I didnt start a long time ago.I cant wait to get back out there again.Maybe next time we will kill alot more carp than we did last time.They are alot smarter than gar and most of the time one shot is all you get at them.

Thanks man.Yeah thats about as good as we have ever done before.Its gonna be a tough number to beat but there are still a ton of fish there for when we go back.How often do gar and carp breed?We didnt even put a dent in the population.

That is too awesome! Way to go bud! The fishing hasn't been real good here in the central Texas waters fopr a few weeks. You boys did good!

We went out last week but we couldnt stay all night so we just bowfished all day.We killed around 80 gar and 5 carp.

Alright I will let u know how it works out.I have been quite few times in the day and its a blast.But I read somewhere that if a place is good in the day time it will be 10 times better at night.We went last week and got 20 gar.The only thing is I dont know if its legal to spotlight fish in Oklahoma or not so I better check.

Hey Wendy I got a question.I heard that the best time to bow fish is at night and I know an awesome bowfishing spot.So what kind of spotlights do you use?Will any regular old hand held one like 1000 candlepower work?Or would a regular old waterproof flashlight work just as good?Thanks.

bigjess, any light you can see with will work! On this boat, we use high pressure sodium lights, and before we used halogens. Shoot low, and good fishin'!
