The river maybe holy but still does not make it clean, very disgusting. The same river you wash clothes, discard ashes, dead human and animal bodies are found floating is the same in which you use to cleanse the physical body. That does not make it sanitary. If its so holy maybe hindus as hole should preserve it better, just saying.

cultural and moral filth is from hell, difficult to rid of. Material filth and disease is easy to get around. For instance, if you love India so much, as you aver, it will not be tough to find a place free from filth. Disease cannot be avoided if you mix with filth or do filthy things like promiscuous sex.Don't forget India is home to more than a billion humans.

Hinduism says all religions are true if followers are genuine and do not throw mud at other religions refusing to study them.You are free to ignore your religious authorities and broaden your vision to understand the depth of other religions.Dont fool yourself thinking a billion people are damn idiots.

If you dont want castes, why dont you part with your income for a part with poor caste people? If you dont want to worship trees, fell a whole forest of them, make furniture and start a mart to sell it. Apparently you know nothing about the current poliical climate in India. A large percentage of seats at educational institutions and in governmental positions are "reserved" for people of lower castes. It amazes me that non-Indians are so quick to comment on caste when in fact many societies of the world were characterized by equally rigid social hierarchies.
