@fernandesfran People line up for train tickets because everybody knows the importance of being with their family especially during holidays. What u r talking about are just exceptions, it do not happens a lot. We don't use exceptions to judge a integral circumstance, right?

Nobody commit suicide because they r spending it alone if that is what u mean by saying"a big deal". Spring Festival represent part of Chinese culture. @segaboy1983 I understand when it is possible to do so. But, when it is impossible to be with your family, for education or for work, is it a big deal to spend it alone? Me and so many I know have been doing it without an issue.
And, while we're at it, how about the impossible queues for people fighting for train tickets during the holiday period?

Excellent. An ad where you don't have to understand the language to get the universal message. I was moved and watched again and again. Maybe because I too have two boys and going through the whole same thing. Loved it.
