@hussainmushahid "afghans" would mean pahtun, they were all farsi speaking... the adopted the moghul name because of the ruthless reputation of chengaiz khan, and yeh "persian" speaking people in south india. the pashtuns were in constant fighting with them...the ludis, and suris.

I believe you're unaware that they originally spoke Chagtai, they later adopted Persian when they came into South Asia.It doesn't matter where they were born, they called themselves Mughals, not Persians or Afghans.We speak Urdu because its our official language, at the time of the British Raj, it was considered as a Muslim language and was used to differentiate from Hindus.

we were ruled by the Mughals, not Afghans. The only thing Afghans were good at that time was looting, they looted the whole Mughal Empire when it was at a decline, they totally clean swept Delhi and even took the peacock throne.
