  • I am considering letting Dr. Aceves perform my sleeve gastrectomy. Thanks for the video of the facility! I LOVE the picture of God guiding the surgeon's hands.

  • @LapGyrl He and his staff are great and I like that there is follow up available. Let me know if you have any questions!!! I am happy for you.

  • This is really a cool little video you put together. So glad your experience was muy bien ;-) I'm sure you got fantastic care -- probably even better than here, right? Good luck on your journey, and keep us posted (duh, I'm sure you will ;-)

  • @GastricBypassBarbie Thanks! Yes, Dr.s Aceves and Campos, and RN Lucy all came to visit me throughout each day. Here you would not typically see the head surgeon coming to visit you while you recover. I think my family felt better seeing me today (they are in So Cal while I am in the bay area) and seeing that I am feeling fine and looking fine! No, I didn't get infected, No, I am not sick, yes I am pooping! LOL My Dad asked me that... I think sometimes they forget I am turning 32 soon!

  • YAY! I've seen a lot of good things about Dr. A. Best of luck to ya!

  • @LittleLessShan Yes it was a great experience and I will go back to him for my 3 month check up... they don't charge anything for the Dr. time and shuttle, I only have to pay for the xray and labs!

  • i'm so glad i found your amazing video

i actually live here in mexicali, and i'm considering getting this donde

could you tell me the cost pls?

    thank you

  • Savings depends on how a number of factors. I know that with MyMedBridge you can get a sleeve gastrectomy for around 85000 pesos which is about 7,000 USD. These guys are with you every single step of the way from start to finish. The hospitals in Guadalajara are even more beautiful than the wonderful facility in this video. Congratulations on your procedure!

  • @maryposa1978

How much did you save by not having it done in U.S.A,

and you got a private room instead of shairing a room

and paying a much higher price for substandard care.

  • Did you have anyone go with you? My mom is travelling with me and I am debating weather I should have her stay at the hospital or at the hotel. I'm nervous for her to be by herself while I am recovering. She is not the best with directions or travelling by herself.

  • @maryposa1978 You'll always be their baby -- trust me! ;-) I'm glad your experience has been so positive, and I hope the rest of your journey is just as successful! Of course, you have a great attitude, so why wouldn't it be? ;-*
