Tabletop roleplaying games (the kind played with pen, paper, books and dice) are good for you in many different ways. For more information on RPGs (and LARP) and how they can be good for you, visit www.theescapist.com.

  • Woah! no geek joke or troll, AWESOME!

You know, you should do a Video for the purpose of an Role Play Games, most of the people think that the MAIN goal of these games are to win and they ignore the other most important thing, that is Enjoy a good and interesting story and Have FUN, I had sad experiences of hearing groups Role playing and most of the time were arguing, fighting and yelling each other, I mean why? this is suppose to be a fun game! we need to teach the people how to play a RPG

  • @Rulytasho Glad you liked it! I hadn't considered a video about the purpose of RPGs, but I'll give it some thought. Thanks!

  • Fuck Video Games; Go Role-Play!

  • A GAZEBO!!!! O.O

  • I run a Pathfinder adventure for my middle school lit classes. They love it. I use RPG's as a springboard for creative writing. Students must roll up characters, write their backstories and continue the adventures we play in class, on paper. They learn how to write tone, setting and actively, never passively. I did a study on RPG's in the classroom for my graduating paper in college as an English major. And I found the social aspect of the games naturally broke down class barriers as I made kid
