A preview look at Herring Island before the punt starts for summer 2010 - 2011. There are more sculptures on the island - the ones shown are "Tanderrum" by Ellen Jose, "Scaled Stem" by Robert Bridgewater, "Falling Fence" by John Gollings and Samantha Slicer, "Steerage" by Jill Peck, "Cairn" by Andy Goldsworthy and "A Hill a River, Two Rocks and a Presence" by John Davis. The Herring Island Summer Arts Festival is run in the gallery each summer - a varied and inspiring range of different media and styles in this hidden bush paradise so close to the city of Melbourne.
