Arekku - Landlocked Blues (REWRITE/REMIX)

I was practising my guitarplaying and stumbled upon the song Bright Eyes - Landlocked Blues, and it instantly became one of my favorite songs of all time. Although, I felt as if I couldn't really relate to the lyrics, so I wrote my own to add my personal touch to this remix. My version of the song tells the story of a boy (me) who lives far away from the love of his life (Nelly, my girlfriend), but he's determined to spend the rest of his life with her, and is imagining what their future will be like.

This is a historic day in many ways, it's the first song I've made where I've implemented lyrics and vocals into a FL Studio production, and also the first FL song I've made that has exceeded 3 minutes in length.

I recorded the three (!) vocal tracks with my video camcorder, so the quality isn't quite what I hoped for, but I think it turned out great after all.

This will most probably not be the last song I make in this manner, since it was very challenging and fun at the same time. I learned alot about making my music into something more.
