Ressources humaines (Human Resources) is a 1999 French film directed by Laurent Cantet. As the name implies,
the subject of the film is the workplace and the personal difficulties that result from conflicts between management and labour,
corporations and individuals. It stars Jalil Lespert. Most of the other actors are non-professionals.
It won numerous international awards and was one of the featured films at the 2005 Traverse City Film Festival.

My French husband spotted the main actor in this movie in Saint-Denis, France, where we live. I complimented him on his role in it and guided him, as he was a bit lost and looking at a map. This is a wonderful movie everyone should see. It raises so many issues! I am American but French now and working in France has been a trip and a half! I have learned a lot.
