Full-filling a lifelong dream, Bryan was enrolled in the Columbia Fire Service Recruit Class. He was also a past volunteer firefighter with the Killian Fire Station. The funeral services were held 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, February 8, 2007. Serving as pallbearers were the members of the January 2007 Columbia Firefighter Recruit Class.

  • 4:04 the Sign "Dead End" what a Sad Ironic.Not Funny. :(

  • Not meant to be funny at all. Was one of the pictures taken down the long dirt road to the country church cemetery. I was in the precession with his daughter and a good family friend right behind the remainder of the family and we both commented on the sign, along the same lines as the comment you made above. Bryan was my brother-in-law, and I come from a FD family. The picture imply no disrespect I assure you.

  • I may not understand fully what you guys do as I am not a firefighter and have never been in a fire, I do thank you and my prayers are with you and your families. May you be safe on every call.

  • This hit way too close to home for me. I'm in Lexington not far from Columbia. I have asked the members of my forum to remember this young brave soul. That post and copy of this video can be seen at saxrt.com punder the topic "LET'S ROLL". This is where we pay tribute to those who have fallen in the service of others.

  • dead end does not disrespect any firefighter, the sign is to imply that there is no road ahead so get it through your heads

  • how did he die.

  • God bless all fire fighters. I really did like the poem that was writen at the beging. I'm sorry for your lose and I know they all look over us young pups on the place that we all fear! God Bless us all! And may they all rest in peace among Heaven! To all my fire fighter brothers and sisters may God be with you all when you face fear!
