  • Stall warning indicator, goes off when the plane is at a certain attitude and speed.

  • It's based on speed only. There's a little "stall vane" on the leading edge of the wing that's spring-loaded. When there's not enough air pressure to hold it in place, it sound the horn letting you know the wing is close to stall (not producing anymore lift).

    That airplane has a Sportsman STOL leading edge cuff that makes the stall horn a little inaccurate.
