GREEN DAY GOES FROM BIG TO BIG SCREEN IN 2005

Green Day was the real story of 2005. With their American Idiot album only building steam at the close of 2004, the band won at almost every award show from the Billboard Awards to the MTV Awards, and a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. The band has now set its sights on a full-length movie of the album, not to be confused with the epic video, "Jesus Of Suburbia." Both vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt acknowledge that the album is a concept album, and they both talk about the movie based on the collection.
