TRADEMARK & COPYRIGHT CARTOON NETWORK. A TIME WARNER COMPANY. ALL OTHER TRADEMARKS, COPYRIGHTS & LICENSES HAVE BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED. NO INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

Credit for this clip goes to Charlie Canford, who (at the time) worked for "Colossal Pictures" and created bumpers and wraparounds for the late '90's "Super Chunk" re-vamp:

This is one of the bumpers for Cartoon Network's late 1990's revamp of its weekend mini-marathon block, "Super Chunk". In this revamp, the classic hand-drawn "Super Chunk" logo, wraparounds and bumpers featuring a a chubby, dimwitted and excitable kid were done away with, replaced with comparably bland and random CG animation that had little to nothing to do with the premise of the block. This bumper in particular features your stereotypical cat and mouse in the vein of "Tom & Jerry".

Enjoy!!!

  • I take it you don't have a high opinion of this look.

  • Nope, I prefer the 1992-1997 "Super Chunk" wrap-around and bumpers. Much more interesting, fun and involved with the actual block and the shows they're marathoning with those on-air trivia questions they had between commercial breaks.

  • Yes, well I have credited all of these recent CN clips along with my past ones to their original animation company/uploaders on my video descriptions.
