  • it's not that they played it poorly,but the instruments they chose were poorly suited for this work. For instance, the bells are too reverberant, and the notes needed to be separated to be properly heard.I think this is an interesting idea, however, you guys failed to take into the consideration of the fact that the drums is extremely loud, and the xylophone, vibraphone aren't. So, the drummer was the biggest idiot, since he should've played very softly all the way for the music to come through.

  • Played this one in high school symphonic orchestra, one of the 3 memorable tunes from that time for me. And these guys just butchered it...

  • Inventive stuff. But you can't beat string instruments in a composition this ornate.
