bet it will make updates easier for jailbreakers cause all they will have to do is make a cracked version of the update and block the verification this. should work aslong as they patch the kernel ready

Remember PSP's , After You Put Custom Firmware You Can Update And It Updates The Custom Firmware via WIFI . Imagine Updating The Jailbreak via Wifi

i think jailbreak once then during the jailbreak they change the apple servers to cydia updates, so then when you search updates it may look at the cydia ones...
