  • i think i hate you. mine had to be cracked with a breaker bar levered up against the frame, whilst trying to turnover (bump) the engine just to get it to crack.

did you really just slip a driver into it and break it with a ratchet?

  • no lol. I used a breaker bar also. I was taking a risk putting the screwdriver there, but it held the pulley in place while I loosed it with a breaker bar. It still wasn't too hard, but I also had my timing belt changed at the dealer about 1K miles before this, so that could also be why it wasn't rock solid stuck.

  • A much easier way is remove the bolt with an impact wrench

  • Lol Are you serious that bolt was lose already. My grandma could do that!!! Lol

  • for some reason it did not copy my whole question , isnt the part behind the balancer the oil pump housing...?? hoping i can buy it at stupid auto zone for 80 bucks and be back on the road soon.

  • i tried to wedge a prybar slightly behind the balancer and cracked the housing behind it when it turned. i had a 3 foot extension on it. and the bar it self is 22 inches still could not get it broke lose. because it turns the crank. stupid question to do the bump technique do i have to take the belt off the power steering etc because i give up on the regular (or currently posted in this video technique)

  • @danman132x you must be kidding becasue your really good with fixing/doing things to car(neon). you must be a auto tech.

  • @lionfiretx lol I have the same type of gloves, who cares what color they are..

  • @smithraymond09029 Hey Hey! I work at McDonalds and take home gloves all the time. I had a couple cuts on my hands from workin on the car so i didnt want stuff gettin into it.
