Ahhh The good old days.... It really wasn't all that long ago when I was there. Graduated from MCRD San Diego 2003 Kill!! Get Some!!!

@ginjaninja: they don't. It's at the discretion of the CG, but summer is usually Dress Deltas and winter (correlating to sleeves up/down order) is Service Alphas. "Dress Blues" like the guides are wearing have not been an issued uniform in YEARS, and therefore not all Marines are required to possess them (which is why they are not worn by all recruits at graduation)

@chargamer he probably got dropped back to a later date due to health issues or that he wasnt physically fit enough to pass a test

Just a question. How come at Parris Island the Recruits graduate with Service Greens and at San Diego they graduate with Dress Blues? Thanks

@castnd but 99% of us out here at Palms have them, no Marine would be caught alive without having that Uniform, that is why we join, is for that Uniform....and other shit. LOL Semper Fi
