Also, Matt Ulemen is no longer doing composition or sound designing for Blizzard. He is now a part of Runic Games. Which is super sad because D3 music isn't going to be as good. ):

Diablo 2's Tristram music was just an arrangement of Matt Ulemen's original Tristram instrumental. And even then, all they did was tack a few minutes onto the end. So... there's not a whole lot wrong with saying "The Diablo 2 version" versus "The Diablo 1 version."
