  • That Mathilde! She's been around the block a few times.

Scott, the reason Mathilde's coming back to you is that Jacque Brel chucked her out. The little tramp!

  • Two things:

    1. The recorded version is better.

    2. Listen to Scott Walker's later work if you doubt his talent.

  • the most fabulous singer ever.

  • Scott Walker (born Noel Scott Engel), whether with The Walker Brothers in the 60's, or a solo artist in the 70's, 80's & 90's, to the present, is one of the finest singers ever to make a recording. He sings as well today as he did 40+ years ago. Truly, he is one for the ages.

  • Just got done watching 30th century man and all i have to say is, wow. I had NO clue who this man was untill i watched it. His voice enters my ears and gives my soul and brain a nice big massage. He's definitely changed my views on music.

  • Scott is such a gorgeous man, perfect! I love this video, especially when he says "My heart, my heart stop beating so" it melts my heart every time.
