my daughter who has recently diagnosed with autisim cried for hours at christmas because i had all her presents out at once, not the reaction i was expecting - but at least this christmas i can be prepared maybe just have a few at a time over the day or a few days

bob this is so true..they get overstimulated when all of em is out....i took himm to a fireworks show once...notso good an idea....the sounds and lights made him over stimullate so bad that he regressed and forgot everything we spent a yr teaching him.But now he is doing amazing...he is even starting to talk a few words from time to time and his ticks are allmost gone only when hes really excited...i wish you and yours the best...we need to help each oyher...its hard.
