Very well said. We (the general public) need to get over the unfounded fears of nuclear power. It is safe and environmentally friendly. It may not be the only piece of the puzzle for clean power in the future but it is one of the biggest pieces. Knowledge is king and those of us that know the truth about nuclear power need to help educate the rest and put the myths to rest.

How long have YOU known about it? Nuke power is privately owned and publicly financed. The waste problem will Never be solved. Plants are built on fault lines, near oceans, over water tables, where they pollute groundwater. Seeing the first explosion, Oppenheimer said "Now I have become Death, Destroyer of Worlds." After the awesome destruction in Japan, "the Peaceful Atom" was sold as a sign of Hope.
