@AnneLiesveld Richard Nixon (according to online) had his daughters about the same point as Bill Clinton did chelsea so his daughter would be that age. and yet my brain thinks that Bill Clinton's daughter will never be that "old" (lol), Just wondering if it will feel wierd down the road if something happens to Bush or clinton or their wives. seems like so much respect for all formers that i don't see there in the grand scheme for bush and clinton. not sure what happened. maybe it is just change

@AnneLiesveld old but I think about Bill Clinton being in his 60s and I picture him gone of age at 81 and that sounds like down the road a short while only and I am watching reagan and ford etc clips and picture Bill Clinton's daughter and her husband and (pending) family dealing with that day and all the sudden 80 doesn't seem so old. Part of me thinks about watching RMN funeral and looking at his adult daughters who looked like the adult version of CVC. (Bill clinton daughter) and I realize

@AnneLiesveld first memories was of Ford's funeral or even later Reagan years. and I realize that RWW's wife is still alive as well as Carter's are (amazingly active and healthy looking--I have a feeling JC and RC will just "die" of age and nothing unhealthy). What brought me to this point is I guess I am starting to think about future and realizing that when I am watching clips of Richard Nixon's funeral from when I was in jr. high when he was "really old". Now that I am older that isn't that

I have a really wierd question but I will put it out there in youtube viewership world. I thought I had asked this at one point but I got no response so I will do it now. (maybe I did before and I got no response) I was thinking about things as I was watching funeral clips of Reagan, Ford, his wife, nixon, and kennedy. Which funeral most affected you like you remember that president as your "first president"? Are you someone my parents' age that remembers Jackie or Nixon? or later years and

@mstevens94 But that is just a theoretical statement.

@BornGayTaughtToHate Excuse me, but if you actually bothered to READ my post you would see that is only a contemporary political opinion, with nothing to do with slavery, a black man being President, hate, propaganda speak, my soul, Judgment, or speaking for God. I only made the point that totalitarian-progressives like Obama are anti-Christian secular-humanists who would never tolerate the Battle Hymn to played in concert during wartime by US military bands.
-
@horselips REALLY? Horselips? more like horse sh*t! What is it with you tea bagging, right wing, pseudo Christian, hate mongering extremists. Face it slavery ended and eventually a black man would be President. You can wrap your hate with all the propaganda speak you want but it will always be in your soul like a deadly cancer eating away at you. You should leave judgement of President Obama to someone who is qualified, God! Speaking on his behalf is blasphemous.
-
As long as Obama is president, this hymn will never be played by an American military band in any public venue, especially while we are still at war. It is too religious-anathema to the totalitarian-progressive's secular-humanist self-image, and anti-Christian agenda.
