aerlingus also fly the a330 on malaga and faro routes in the summer

they no longer fly 2 funchal, san fransisco , krakow and unfortunately they wont be expanding long haul as the recession and id say some a350s will be cancelled

Aer Lingus comes from the Irish (Gaelic Language) Aer loingeas meaning 'air fleet'. The reason it was simplified to 'Lingus' was so that the British and Americans could pronounce it! These are Ireland's two biggest tourist and economic markets. Therefore 'Lingus' is not a gaelic word!
