Susan Sarandon on Clive Anderson All Talk 1999 Part One

After the rousing theme tune by Elvis Costello, Clive would take the stage to interview anywhere from one to three guests in this half-hour show. But as I attended this taping as an audience member (can you spot me in the credits? Dead center, wearing a grey turtleneck and smock) I can reveal that they actually chatted and were recorded for 45 minutes each, which was then cut down to 10 to 15 minute segments for broadcast.

@AbigailReggieLove I was in the audience for this show and he was confused a LOT. They taped both Susan and Caroline for 45 min each and edited the interviews down. I remember Susan prattling about ALL of her roles as if Clive was thoroughly familiar with all fo them, "when I played Marmee..." and he often looked lost!
