When Pbs did a special on Domingo he said "I was never so impressed , not even seeing the production, but JUST listening to the recording of Delmonaco and Tebaldi singing Andrea Chenier". and Domingo has heard it all for the past 50 years..

veramente spettacolare tecnica, qualità di voce e soluzioni interpretative. Mille grazie per aver trovato questa rarità e condivisa con noi, perchè bisogna conoscere le cose che il mercato vuole ignorare per chissà quali motivi.

Thank you for posting this rare video, because it deserves attention. He is a wonderfull and very clever artist, and I like this Esultate much more than this of Domingo or Galuzine or the other modern tenors.

no he mencionado a las feminas, ni directores por falta de espacio y no cansar. Pero La Callas (soy pintor y acabo de hacer un cuadrito sobre ella y continuare con otras figuras), Tebaldi(rivales pero insustituibles), Caballe, Scotto, Freni, L Price, KTK, de los Angeles, etc. Directores un monton, encabezados por Karajan, Solti, Muti, Abbado, etc Y...Viva la Opera Siempre¡¡¡¡

@maripudelmonaco, en realidad la lista seria interminable de los tenores que habria que mencionar. No me gusta insultar ni que insulten a nigun tenor, es una profesion dificilisima y 'arriesgada'. Me da igual que un tenor haga roles mejor o peor, los admiro porque como 'toreros' lidian al toro, por dificil que este sea funcion tras funcion. Y MDM no cabe duda fue un 'torero' de los mas valientes.
