@Phenomenon58 Well OK, you've all convinced me; this is a great cover (vocally) but Plant is ultimately better. After watching Song Remains the Same (the movie), Plant definitely owns WLL. Also, Lambert's 80's glam look is in the wrong decade for Zeppelin who was the epitome of 70's post hippie psychedelic rock era.

@mikesterSTLMO And if you take away all the lights from Adam lamberts performance it wouldnt be that great. Led Zeppelin didnt need bright lights and flashing images to make this song dynamic and cool.

@mikesterSTLMO Really? I prefer his version, he oozes coolness. Dont get me wrong, this guys vocals rock but... Plant performs it better. Plant is just too good man.

@ExploiterMetal Yes and now it's killed the show ! ;) No one can ever do this good on idol again, but I keep waiting for it. Lambert's the only Idol-contestant who has truly stood out and he's the only one who's never delievered pitchy perfomances!
