Tanya Bulanova - Oseni v Glaza

Russian singer Tanya Bulanova. There's no way i would listen to something like this in english. But thanks to my Russian obsession, i think it's awesome.

Woo hoo! Tanya has a new album! Lublu i Skuhayu. Sometimes when i'm at a Dimmu Borgir concert, or Opeth, or Children of Bodom - i wonder if anyone else in the audience listens to Tanya or Linda. I'm guessing no... haha

I heard Tanya Bulanova do a track called "Vesna," sort of a techno mix, years ago. It was on a Soyuz album, but now I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find that song on CD?

Was it just "vesna" (spring)? I have almost all of her albums, and i only see one song with that in the title. It's called "v gorode vesna" (spring in the city). But after looking online, it looks like there are two others - "V Pitere vesna" (spring in Pitere??), and "Prosto vesna" (simply spring). Was it just her, or a collaboration?

It was a collaboration of sorts with another artist. I can't remember the other artist to save my life, though. It was titled simply "Весна." Sort of a techno/rave mix, great to listen to.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about "v gorode vesna". It's a collaboration, and it's also on one of the soyuz albums. YouTube doesn't wanna let me post the actual URL. Go to RussianDVD dot com, look up Soyuz 32. It's track 9. SKU is 31998.

I don't know why but I find the Russian language beautiful when sung even though I am clueless as to what she is saying.

Greetings from England!! Tanya Bulanova, for me the symbol of Russia: Beautiful, tragic, passionate, strong. I have listened and danced to her music in many smoke filled cafes throughout this magnificent country. The guy by the way is Aleksei Barabash, a wonderful Russian actor, check him out in the new film ' Paradox Soldiers' released on DVD in Febuary.

@iny0ureyes It's because she is a Russian pop singer. It would be like me (as an American) liking Britney Spears! I'm pretty sure that if Tanya sang in English, i wouldn't like her at all. But i'm obsessed with the Russian language, and she has a beautiful voice - so i love her. Does that make sense? I don't listen to American pop. I'm much more of a death metal / black metal fan.

@Justavian why would u be ashamed to listen to her?? she has some trouble saying a few words correctly but non-the-less her music is always awesome and meaningful. Her courses are always catchy and she writes herself. there is nothing embarrassing. my mom doesn't like her because she says her songs are depressing. i mean yes they are depressing sometimes but they are truthful and i love them.
