Prince William, despite being Australia's future monarch, has thrown his support wholly and solely behind England's World Cup bid. Clearly, he regards himself as English, and perhaps a little bit Welsh, but not at all Australian.

Shouldn't Australia have a head of state that cares enough about this country to support Australia at sport?

  • Of course he supports England, what´s wrong with that? That commonwealth thing is so ridiculous. When are you going to be completely independent?

  • couldn't agree with you more -- he should support england as he is english and australians should have a head of state that is australian.

  • The "most integral" part of Australia resides 10,000 miles away in a foriegn country? The fact the Prince William is coming to Australia -- the first time he has come to Australia since he was in nappies -- says it all, yes. It says he will jet in, have a fun time at the Australian taxpayers expenses, visiting only Sydney and Melbourne, because the rest of the country doesn't count, smile for the cameras and then get the hell out of the place before he can ever even find out what makes us tick.

  • Australia should totally become a republic.

  • @davosz He is German, not English. The Royal family are 100% German decendant.

  • @tglaz1 Oh really? Where is your proof? :-)

Besides, even if they did, Britain cannot be blamed for it, because the colonists did whatever they wanted, they were sent to colonize parts of the world and the army was mostly absent therefore order could not be maintained.

  • @TheLiberalKnight How 'bout burrying Australian Aboriginal children at neck height in the sand then kicking of their heads to see who can get it the furthest?

  • @tglaz1 I'm dead serious. Give me a single example. Once you realise you can't find any examples, you'll understand that the bullshit presumptions you'd made before are complete bollocks.

  • Republicanism....what a waste of time and money.

  • @rosana1150 So, you say we killed innocent unarmed people to colonize their countries. Right- can you give me an example? :-)

  • @TheLiberalKnight You definitely are 8 years old or retarded. And my time is too precious to have a n idiotic discusion with someone who thinks killing innocent unarmed people to colonioze them is not a massacre.
