@SONICR2K yeah, you're right. if you look closely the inside of the trap's doors are black. in the actual toy the doors are a glow in the dark color.

The doors on the trap were actually whitish-yellow, because they glowed in the dark. They weren't as yellow as shown here. The problem the trap had was the handle was very easily broken. It was a known problem with them. The handle is laid ontop the rest of the toy, and can break off.

The pedal worked like a bellows, and when you stepped down on it, it blew air into a mechanism which opened the doors.

I had most of the Ghostbusters toys. The proton packs, the blasters, the action figures. But I never got the trap. That's what I wanted. Had to use an empty Kleenex box and slide it across the room whenever I needed to contain a spirit. I guess it was just as effective. It got them to the containment unit, after all.

@KokoBWary I wanted it too so bad, I FINALLY got the little foam gun one year when I was like 7.....then immediately went on to shoot all the foam bullets into the creek behind my house. It was fun for the 1 hour I played with it
