Surly the Spanish word for 'hampster' is not pronounced with the English 'H' if spelt that way. It should either be silent or spelt with a 'jota'.

Hey, thanks for your comment. It is true that the H should should not be pronounced in Spanish as it is often mute, but in this word, Spanish speakers do pronounce it. If you listen carefully, you will notice when I say the word in English I use the H sound whereas when I give the Spanish version I use the J sound. I know it is a subtle difference but it is there if you listen closely. Thanks!

Another great video, but I was hoping this one would include horse, cow, pig, bull.

Thanks, the aim of this series is to give very basic vocabulary that you may come across on a day to day basis. But of course there are hundreds of animals we could add!!!
