I'm an old (61) white male and I have waited since the 2004 keynote address to vote for Barack Obama for President.
After 8 years of STUPID in the White House, I look forward to a government by the best and brightest minds in the country.
Thank God I have lived long enough to see this happen.

Well said! I am a 37 year old White Male and I voted strongly for Obama. I really wanted him to be President. I share in your excitement although I cannot feel what you have felt regarding being African American. But I do believe we are all just AMERICAN and I see Barack as a great leader we all needed.
