"On Broadway" was a hit for The Drifters in 1963 reaching #9 on the Billboard Hot 100.
George Benson's version of "On Broadway", from his 1978 album Weekend in L.A., was an even bigger hit than The Drifters' original, hitting #7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

I like Hicks' version of "On Broadway", and the squeeking sound the guitar makes when a hand goes up and down the neck of the guitar. Nice shots in this slide show.

Saw the show on January 28th and it was great. Taylor was really good and I loved when he sang "Seven Mile Breakdown" at the end of the show. One very talented young man!
