  • @mankyman6 It will shrink your C drive but not ruin your whole komputer. It will just make the C drive smaller by the amount of GB's you specified and install Ubuntu on the unallocated space, and then you get a choice of both OSes. Easy as pie!

  • Okay i know this is 1 year old but here

Partion gives u the option of eaither using part to dual boot it with ur current OS ooorrrrr Wipe the whole drive clean and use ubuntu

  • When I get to the partition menu and it asks me to move that bar, what does it do?

Is that bar want me to create a new partition and change how much it holds?

Or is it wanting me to shrink my C: Drive and the space that I took away from it, it uses for Ubuntu?

Please help me! I don't want to ruin my PC! My Mom will kill me! She already had to reinstall Windows on my computer before!

  • When you first put in the cd and press enter and when the icons "exampel" and "installing" is showing i dont get the lower and upper menu. I just see the ICONS!!

    What am i doing wrong?

  • ohh aku suka lagu ini, apa namanya...and can you also help me ubuntu live cd...plz

  • it is proberly becouse your CPU thinks to boot from the hard drive instead of the CD drive now you need to change this to do it start your computer up as normal, when the brand of the computer comes up the first screen press enter itdepends on the model, when your in BIOS settings, scroll along to BOOt tab, and make shore that the CD rom drive is in front of the Hard drive it should be like this: CD Drive, Hard Drive , floppy drive(if you have one), press F10 to exit saving changes, Hopethishelps
