@mankyman6 It will shrink your C drive but not ruin your whole komputer. It will just make the C drive smaller by the amount of GB's you specified and install Ubuntu on the unallocated space, and then you get a choice of both OSes. Easy as pie!
When you first put in the cd and press enter and when the icons "exampel" and "installing" is showing i dont get the lower and upper menu. I just see the ICONS!!
Help me apparently "the checksum for device 1 is not valid" i am using the live CD iso! does that matter?? help would be appreciated, thnx in advance! ;)
it is proberly becouse your CPU thinks to boot from the hard drive instead of the CD drive now you need to change this to do it start your computer up as normal, when the brand of the computer comes up the first screen press enter itdepends on the model, when your in BIOS settings, scroll along to BOOt tab, and make shore that the CD rom drive is in front of the Hard drive it should be like this: CD Drive, Hard Drive , floppy drive(if you have one), press F10 to exit saving changes, Hopethishelps

When I get to the partition menu and it asks me to move that bar, what does it do?
Is that bar want me to create a new partition and change how much it holds?
Or is it wanting me to shrink my C: Drive and the space that I took away from it, it uses for Ubuntu?
Please help me! I don't want to ruin my PC! My Mom will kill me! She already had to reinstall Windows on my computer before!
