This is an important update of Woody's famous anthem that expresses many people's sincere convictions. As he says, this was created through Guthrie's own process; I'd certainly expect the Guthrie family to embrace it.

Lame. He does the Arlo Guthrie schtick of explaining the song for 1/2 hour, then butchers a Woody Guthrie song with none too clever lyrics that run America down.
