  • @ratje67 You should read a book called Being Peace. It's about Tibetin Budhism. It basically sums up most of the religion. As I read more about it, the more I see like you do. In it, it says that we are all gods. In fact, the god Budha is you. But he only exists when you are happy. If you are not happy, you are not a god and Budha is not in you. That is why all statues and painting of Budha, you see that he is always smiling.

  • @UtahMike41 a shark would kill them too quick

  • Wildfires Suck but theyre a part of nature and a neccessary part of many ecosystems. If you are gonna live in high fire danger areas you need to prepare for things like this with fire shelters. Just a thought, I mean I live in California and we see our fair share of wildfires believe me. You need to be smart and not wait untill the absolute last minute to evacuate.

  • I really do like this conversation, it is fascinating what is being said between NewLemurian and rakje67 but it does seem a little disrespectful to continue it when the topic heading includes over 180 people dying in there own homes while trying to shelter there families and each other! These wildfires DEVASTATED us and btw there were hundred of thousands of animals caught up in it too! This is real and is still fresh in our minds!

  • Wildfires are terrifying. They move so fast and unpredictably. If these fires are arson I hope the bastard is caught, tried and used as shark food.

  • Very sad for all Australians

  • I am no expert, but i think sometimes what happens is that cinders and burning debris ride along the winds far from the main fire. they then settle in the gutters of peoples houses, sometimes igniting dried leaves and setting the whole house on fire. As a result, residents might think that they are a safe distance from a raging fire, only to find their house or something close to it suddenly alight.

  • Yawn

  • one thing I dont get is how the fires wiped out all those houses yet the trees standing next to them survives?

  • If you want to see the full documentary free of charge, then go to the 4 Corners website and you can watch this film in its entirety. Journeyman films are a rip off that they try to charge people to watch reports that have been screened on free to air TV.
