Bob Crouse and Medical Marijuana

Bob Crouse relates his battle with the DA, Dan May over his arrest for medical marijuana for which he has a he has a medical marijuana card as well as a doctor's recommendation to grow as many as 75 plants.

There is evidence that that ingesting about a gram a day of boiled down marijuana oil, commonly known as phoenix tears, can have a profound effect on cancer and many other serious medical conditions. The process is called apoptosis, where the cancer cell is given instruction to die. Apoptosis produces cell fragments called apoptotic bodies that phagocytic cells are able to engulf and quickly remove before the DNA can spill out onto surrounding cells and cause damage. 50 and 70 billion cells die each day due to apoptosis in the average human adult.

It also has been shown to be effective treatment for Heart Disease, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Alzheimer's, Liver Disease, Epilepsy, Skin Allergies, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and is also Neuroprotective and Causes Neurogenesis (brain cell growth).

Jason Lauve also speaks.
Jason was arrested in 2009 and after a nearly week-long trial and 3 hours of deliberations, the jury acquitted him of felony marijuana possession charges. Lauve was injured at Eldora in 2004, by a reckless snowboarder who broke Jason's back and as a result he is in constant pain. He qualified and received a medical marijuana ID card and was using it to alleviate his pain.

The Colorado law (Article 18, Section 14 of the Colorado Constitution) reads, in part:
(b) For quantities of marijuana in excess of these amounts, (6 plants and 2 ounces) a patient or his or her primary care-giver may raise as an affirmative defense to charges of violation of state law that such greater amounts were medically necessary to address the patient's debilitating medical condition.

In 2000, Colorado voters legalized marijuana for medical use by amending the Colorado Constitution.
